Kling 3.0 guide

Everything you can do with Kling 3.0

Kling 3.0 is Kuaishou’s video model, available in the Nano Banana AI studio for text to video. It is known for bold camera moves and expressive motion from a single line of direction. This guide covers what it takes and how to prompt it.

What Kling 3.0 is built for

Kling 3.0 works from a text prompt, or from a first frame or a first-and-last-frame pair. Choose standard, pro, or 4K mode, a 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1 frame, and a duration from 3 to 15 seconds, and optionally switch on generated speech, effects, and ambience.

Multi-shot mode lets you script up to five shots in one clip, and up to three named elements built from images or a short video keep a character consistent. Its strength is energy: action beats, reveals, and stylized camera moves tend to come out with more drama than quieter, more static models.

Prompting Kling 3.0

Lead with the action and the camera: "a skateboarder launches off a ramp, camera whip-pans to follow, then slows as he lands". Unless you supply a first frame, the prompt carries the whole look, so include the setting, time of day, and style. In multi-shot mode, keep each shot description short.

Kling 3.0 compared with other video models

Use Kling 3.0 when the shot depends on movement and impact. Use Seedance 2.5 when you need very large reference sets or clips beyond 15 seconds. Use Veo 3.1 for calmer, realistic scenes. You can run the same prompt on several models in the studio to see which handles it best.
